Individual Therapy

In individual therapy, we create a space where you can show up just as you are—messy, uncertain, overwhelmed, or hopeful—and be met with compassion, curiosity, and honesty. We believe healing happens in relationship, and we work from an attachment-based lens to explore patterns, build insight, and reconnect with your most authentic self. Whether we're navigating anxiety, grief, identity shifts, trauma, or simply that stuck feeling, we move at your pace and focus on what matters most to you. Expect a mix of deep reflection, gentle challenges, and maybe even some laughter—because therapy doesn’t have to feel clinical to be meaningful. You're not broken, and you're not alone. We'll figure it out together.

Family Therapy

Family therapy is a space for us to slow down, get curious, and better understand the patterns that are keeping your family stuck. We help families navigate conflict, communication struggles, major life transitions, and generational wounds with compassion and clarity. In our work together, we won’t take sides—we’ll explore each person’s perspective and needs, and work toward connection, repair, and more effective ways of relating. Whether you're a parent and teen at odds, a couple adjusting to parenting, or an adult child and parent working through past hurt, we’ll create a space where healing and growth can happen—together.

Making Sense of Your Worth

Many of us carry hidden beliefs that we’re not good enough, unlovable, or broken—and those beliefs often come from early experiences where our needs weren’t met in the ways we deserved. Making Sense of Your Worth is an 8-week, evidence-informed curriculum designed to help you understand where those beliefs come from and gently begin to replace them with the truth: your worth isn’t something you earn—it’s something you already have.

Rooted in attachment theory and designed for those who have experienced trauma, loss, or insecure relationships, this process helps you move from shame to security. Currently offered in one-on-one sessions, this journey invites you to explore your story, uncover the lies you’ve believed about yourself, and build a foundation of self-worth that’s grounded, resilient, and true. In the future, group sessions will be available for parents, women, and teens to experience this healing in community.

Who
we are

Wildflower Flame Counseling is me—Kayla—a compassionate and down-to-earth therapist who loves working with teenagers and women. I understand how challenging life can feel when you’re navigating big emotions, identity shifts, or past wounds, and I’m here to walk with you through it all.

My approach is rooted in attachment theory and enriched by Internal Family Systems (IFS), a powerful way to explore the different parts of yourself with curiosity and kindness. Healing, to me, happens in relationship—through connection, trust, and sometimes even a little laughter.

Whether we’re working one-on-one or with your family, I’m committed to creating a warm, safe space where you feel truly seen, heard, and supported. Together, we’ll uncover your strengths, face your struggles, and nurture the flame of hope and resilience inside you.
